LeaseGreen implements a complete energy renovation for OP's logistics properties in Vantaa

This is the largest energy investment launched so far by OP Real Estate Asset Management. LeaseGreen designs and implements the modernization of a complete energy system for four logistics properties in Vantaa. In the energy renovation, the heat source of the properties will change: the buildings will be disconnected from the district heating network, and the necessary energy will be produced in the future by a combination of heavy-duty heat pumps and solar generators installed in the buildings. These are probably the first major properties in the Capital region to give up district heating.

It is estimated that the modernization of the energy system will reduce property heating costs by more than 20% and the carbon footprint by about 60%. In addition, life cycle savings are estimated to reach EUR 4–5 million.
